Open Call: Design the 2026 Salem Art Fair & Festival T-Shirt
You’re invited to participate in our open call to design the official Salem Art Fair & Festival t-shirt! This is a fantastic opportunity for talented individuals to contribute to the rich history/legacy and diversity of artists that have shaped the visual identity of this beloved cultural event.
The winner will receive:
- A $200 prize
- 10 free T-shirts featuring the winning design ($200 retail value)
- 10 complimentary one-day tickets to the 2026 Salem Art Fair & Festival ($100 value)
- Recognition on Salem Art Association social media platforms
Design requirements:
- Designs should reflect the spirit of the 2026 Salem Art Fair & Festival, and incorporate imagery inspired by Salem, community, and art!
- All work must be original, created without the use of AI, and free from copyright restrictions.
- Maximum design size 9″x9″
- Designs must be one color only and suitable for printing on various T-shirt colors. (Linework and solid fills only; no shading or gradients)
- Any text must be fully incorporated into the design
- Designs must be appropriate and family-friendly
Submission Requirements
Please submit your file as a PNG, AI, EPS with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI.
The top three designs (chosen by the SAA team) go to a community voting round, where people can vote on SAA’s website and social media!
