Skip & his group, The Spirit of New Orleans, play a smattering of the great rhythm and blues hits of the ’50s and ’60s, as well as some great pop & rock organ classics of the ’60s and ’70’s. Add to that a bonifide New Orleans piano boogie-woogie and the party follows!

Over the last 20 years, frontman Skip Jones has enjoyed working with such bands as: The Coasters, The Drifters, The Platters, Joe Houston & Bo Diddley. He toured with the great Canned Heat in 1985-86 holding down Larry Taylor’s bass position.

On saxaphone and clarinet, Paul Biondi has backed up such artists as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Mel Torme, Ella Fitzgerald, Barbra Streisand, Ray Charles, Lena Horne and toured for several years with Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, and Ike and Tina Turner. He also wrote and played on movie scores and television theme songs, and performed with many famous individual artists, including Jimmy Smith, Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers, Jack Sheldon, Tex Beneke, Horace Height Jr., The Temptations, the Four Tops, The Drifters, The Platters, The Cadillacs, The Shirelles, and numerous other groups and artists.
Byron Case on guitar, a class act who played guitar in the 60s California surf band ‘The Sunrays’, signed by Tower Records. Their band toured the U.S. and Canada as the opening act for the Beach Boys.

Theo Halpert is a renowned drummer, percussionist and pianist, who has worked with countless musicians around the Northwest music scene. He is a musician, engineer and producer with experience in Rock, Jazz, Blues, Soul and Latin.
