The children’s maze will be a fun and safe adventure for your little ones! Standing at approximately 3 feet tall, parents/guardians will be able to watch their kiddos navigate the maze and encourage them along. The team at South Town Glass, along with volunteers from NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction) chapter #198, will be putting this maze together from recycled cardboard. Artwork will be added to the maze, giving kids their own small “art walk” to navigate and view the pretty pictures that were donated from local classrooms and local volunteers. For an added challenge, there will be a scavenger hunt within the maze; there will be squirrels hidden along the pathway for children to find and to count how many they can spot on the maze walls. As squirrels are a common part of Bush Park, these will fit right in. But “Don’t let the squirrels distract from finding your way to the end of the maze, kids!” We hope you’ll come check this fun activity out in the children’s corner at the Salem Art Fair!
