Pachanga

Pachanga band honors the varied Latin Tropical music recognizing the influence of African rhythms and percussion instruments such as congas, timbales and bongos. We recognize that the continued development of rhythms in Latin America manifested first in the Caribbean Islands, Honduras, and South America including Venezuela, Colombia, and Panama. That legacy was left by black slaves and our music attempts to present it to the audience from our continued learnings.

Six men and two women, all in white dress shirts, pose and smile in front of a grand double staircase and a large mural.
